Insects2016 Biodiversity

Ayush K. - I’m doing this project to understand the impact of water sources on the diversity of insects. I’d like to learn whether the availability of water at a certain location can cause an abundance or scarcity of certain species of insects.Someone else can help/contribute by collecting insects either through traps, or manual search and providing me with the data of insects collected.

Makayla.H -I’m working on this project because I wanted to determine whether or not if shade or sun impacted the diversity of the insects we would collect in our pitfall traps. My goal for this project is to actually see the differences in the shade vs. the sun locations. I would check this by looking at a variety of different things such as amount, size, and species type.
